The standard engine to the Audi Q7 diesel model is a 3.6 liter V6 variant that produces power up to 280 hp and with this engine, the TDI variant can achieve fuel economy of 14 and 20 mpg in the city and on the highway roads respectively. The other optional engine offered by the vehicle is a 4.2 liter V8 model that delivers up to 350 hp ad with this engine, the luxury model can achieve 13 and 18 mpg. The sole transmission to both the engines is a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

Apart from the powerful engine, the four door luxury model is also equipped with advanced safety and luxury features.
